We are pleased to be a distributor for the Louisville Generator Product line. This is a premium 4 stage ac/dc generator made in Louisville, Ky. What is a 4 stage generator? The LG 1.5 is comprised of 4 independent high output stators. That means it can be wired in series, or parallel. For instance, very low wind areas would benefit from series wiring, resulting in higher voltage. Where as, higher wind areas are better suited for parallel wiring, resulting in higher current. That feature makes this product unique to other wind generators. The 4 stages, or "Quad" design makes it the perfect generator for all wind conditions, anywhere in the World. This 4 stage unit is perfect for inventors and developers of new types of wind turbines and renewable energy products, including VAWT's. It can also be customised to your specific needs for wattage and voltage. Made in the USA.

Click here for a wind speed chart on this product. Actual results are based on many factors including wind speed, altitude of tower, blade diameter, charging voltage, battery condition, etc. These results are not guaranteed. Field data is based on 16' diameter wind blades.
Click here for an open circuit voltage chart on this product. Open circiut voltage is based on series wiring with no load.
More on open circuit volts: Manufacturers design stators based on many factors. One is the maximum voltage they will produce under no-load conditions. This allows the engineer to specify the proper wire gauge and current rating. |
